however secure you may make , people can still intrude into it, so it is always better to keep an eye on what all are happening in your system

A network is a connection between many computers.

The reason why we want it to be secure is because if one of them is not secure enough, the whole system is in risk.

A good way to secure a network is to have a host computer.

Make it as secure as you can (antivirus, firewall, etc. . )

Then establish connection and share it to the network.

You only have to monitor the host computer if you follow this method. . .

Network security is normally something that people think is important and they invest time and effort in keeping intruders out of the system. However a lot of administrator forget that most intruders are in fact company employees and the security is normally compromised by insiders. It is difficult to ensure all is secure therefore without employing network monitoring to watch what the insiders are doing and ensure they are only doing what they are suppose to be doing and no more. Hope this helps.
