My internet is unbearbly slow , i found out that it was unlimited bulk mail being forwarded via my computer?

well the best part is even when i connect to the net from elseware it still hogs that connection as well, i tried running my upto date norton virus scanner , but it turned up nothing, i had to untinstall it cuz it pops up so many mail filtering messages accross my screen........is there any way i can block these cuz when i installed a trafic monitoring program it showed up smtp rocketing all my bandwith !!!

    It sounds like your computer has been hijacked and is now part of a Bot Net used for spam.

    To be absolutely sure I was free of this, I would reformat my computer and change all my passwords. Besure you physically disconnect your computer from the internet and unplug everything from the computer except the Keyboard, Mouse and Speakers.

    This Microsoft site has great info on making and using Strong passwords.
