As artists, whether musicians, painters or writers, we find differences and similarities in our respective artistic creative processes. Most likely we all map, archive, fragment, and doubt our respective works while pursuing the accomplishment of that final work. As a group Rose and Javier will attempt to merge and manipulate images, objects, unfinished ideas, compositions and melodies in order to create a meticulous, intricate, enchanting, mesmerizing ART-Works, that in live broadcast performance will be one seamless piece. We are not attempting to create work that exists in isolation. Throughout this work and others, we, as a group, will try to relate a broader concern and explore the issues that all artists have in common in this contemporary society: When do we find the time to make that Masterpiece? In modern times artists along with everyone else has to worry about consumerism, globalism, identity, destruction, and survival. We intend to use this broadcast performance as the tool to juxtapose images, melodies, and compositions that will convey the exploratory traces against the manifest realities of our creative processes., thus to convey an utopian ideal against the realities of artistic production. A web performance that animates the detritus of creative chaos in which artists make decisions that potentially aim and risk the logic of a finalized product.
